My phone vibrated and when I looked at it the screen was white i tried turning it off and taking out the battery but the screen is still white.

When you try to turn it on it vibrates once and a white screen that says Nokia in blue comes up and it stays like that. the phone seems to be on, then it means there is a problem with the phone. Most likely a hardware or software problem. If the screen comes on partially and goes off back, then it is a software problem, but if it does not come on at all or looks broken, then it is a hardware problem.

If it is a software problem, it will require you to flash the phone with the best appropriate software

If it is a hardware problem, that is if the phone hits a hard object, then it means you will have to replace the screen with a new one.

sounds like the software prob.most of these big multimedia phones crash and need to be updated by a repair shop.these have to be offical nokia updates.....but before that lift out your sim card and sd card and clean them,stick them back in and start it upagain.sometimes these get dirty

when this happens, does your phone have enough battery charge? because if it's not fully charged, as you switch it on, you will only see a white screen and then it will shut down. try charging it first with your cell phone is turned off. then after charging try to turn it on. if it does and you only see a white screen, the problem is the LCD. go to the LG dealer and have it reset. that wil surely solve your problem not unless you sat on your phone or you dropped and broke the LCD. hope this helps. thank you.

you can have the phone reflash to correct this problem or just take it into your provider and have them look at it for you.

You need to take the phone to a mobile service center and have them fix it for you....it needs a new battery and have the mainboard diagnosed

Your LCD screens are cracked. Almost any significant crack will make the entire screen "go white". If you LIGHTLY press on the screen you'll probably see where the crack is (appears as a small black or multicolor line and may or may not "bleed"). You need to replace the screen (at a repair shop, mail in service, or DYI with a replacement screen) or get a new phone. Sorry.

i had the same issue when my phone got slightly wet. try taking everything apart (sim card, battery, back). let them dry out for a little bit then after like a day or two put the phone back together. turn it on it will be a white screen for a little bit but give it like 2 or 3 mins and if should come back. I did this for my phone cuz i really needed the pictures off it and it worked! hopefully if will work for you too. GOOD LUCK!

i can only see a blank screen on my k800i with vibration, and i cant turn it off unless take the battery off.
