Question about HP iPAQ H4150 Pocket PC
Hi - Can anyone tell me why my IPAQ 4150 often doesn't sync with my desktop ? I use the same partnership as always, same computer, same USB connection, same cradle etc.. But as often as not, in the ActiveSync window it just says: "Connecting...." and nothing actually happens. The problem is only ever resolved by repeatedly disconnecting the Ipaq from the cradle and/or USB lead from the desktop and waiting. But this is getting a little tedious, for something that should be so straightforward. Is this just "built in" unreliability that I have to get used to, or is there a solution ?

It might be a hardware problem - if you get it both with the cradle and a sync cable, then it might be the connector at bottom of Ipaq. But I don't know for sure. If it's intermittent like this then it doesn't seem like a software problem.

Tips for a great answer:
acc to me, partnership once deleted due to hard reset on ur smartphone will not be created under the same name until u delete the same partnership from active sync on pc. To delete the partnership open active sync>file>delete partnership..then create new with the same name with ur smartphone.
