The fused burned out not because it is faulty but because a problem occurred, probably a short circuit, which resulted in the high-inrush of current. This burning out of the fuse on the motor controller module usually caused by faulty drain pump motor. Water leaks in the drain pump damages the pump motor winding and results in short circuit which eventually burns out the fuse. The drain pump must be checked first for such condition and replaced if necessary before replacing the fuse or the motor control board for that matter.

Sir/Mam there is cleaning motor for one of the rollers in the fusing unit the very hot part on the right side of the machine is there anything like a transprancies or paper wrapped around the fusing unit roller. Recommended that you get a tech out to look at it remove the fusing unit and look it over. Do not use the machine you burn out that motor it will cost more to repair worse case you burn out the main control board 1000 dollars. Motor is inside the machine

2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited only blows cold air despite c.c setting position. Also what I'm Guessing to be the blower control module hot lead burned through end of wire/ wiring harness/ and circuit...

lead burned through
that's easy
using the wrong fuse size
and the feed is shorted,
the correct fuse prevents the burned wires.

here are the HVAC pages
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

lots of things can short. in cars. (topic Hvac)
  • the wires.
  • the connectors
  • the HVAC motors (actuators)
  • the blower.

if you had stated the exact wire color and what it connect to exacty
we can state who shorted.

Fuse 1 , 40amp runs the blower. dark green.
Fuse 20 , 10amps runs others.
Fuse 7 runs zone control,,,10A and all 4 damper motors actuators.
see 8w-42-6 pages.

ok you have your FSM and now can find who connects to what.

My machine wont power on. I checked the outlet and it is fine.

you have blown the fuse on the main board. you will need to check short circuits in your pump and motor, and for leaks onto any electrics, and then replace the motor control board (or try to replace fuse on board if other components look fine ie no burn marks)

Whirlpool gas dryer: 120 volt plugged into a 220 volt plug. Dryer will no longer show power for machine. inside light does come on when plugged back into 120 volt receptacle. Has the dryer burnt up?

may have burned the motor out.... if this unit has a control board on it most likely would have shorted it out first if a standard/basic gas dryer will a timer knob then power would have either burned timer,or motor up first.... good luck to you that really stinks....

DEAR FRIEND..OUR TREADMILL SA 1060..1.8HP STOPPED WORKING ALL OF A SUDDEN AND WE PRESUME THE MOTOR HAS GOT BURNED AS THERE WAS A BURNING SMELL EMANATING SOON AFTER IT STOPPED RUNNING..WE LIVE IN ABU...

An visual inspection must be made under the motor hood. First unplugged unit then remove motor shroud clean any dirt or debris. Then check for any visible signs of burning on the Motor Control Board. Also check in the front where the power switch is, that may have burned if not, there should be a main fuse holder that also could burn or fuse may have opened up. If the fuse holder is good then proceed to the fuse if it has opened up replace the fuse. Then plug unit back in while you are look at all components while someone initiate start-up and if any burning is visible then isolate what component is burning or arching. Then go to Sports Art Fitness.com go to customer service and get their international number and they should be able assist you.

There is no power on the unit although it is plugged into a live outlet.

Possibly you have a burned out control board or a burned out control panel. I had a similar problem. I changed the control board first and it ended up being the front control panel.

Nothing worked on the front panel. No lights came on and no beeping sound when you pushed any button. I should have done the front panel matrix test first in the manual. But the manual lead me to believe only one button or one light would fail. For some reason the whole front panel stopped working.

If you problem is the same. Do the matrix test on the front panel. If it checks out okay then it's your control board. I believe if the motor control board is the issue you would still see the front display working.

The fuse is on the motor control board. Do not try checking anything till you view the manual below.

Maytag Nepture MAH5500BWW burned control board

ummmm, honestly ive never replaced just the board(im an authorized maytag servicer) so our replacements have always been new, and in this case the repair kit containing both board and motor. that being said, i cant see a reason as to why you couldnt relace just the board itself, ,Ireally never found the reason why the board would burn out, but, as far as repair kit im certain that they were trying to get all circuit boards and motors back to only one model, instead of having 5 or six different boards andmotors, this will bring them all to the most recent board and motor, never was an issue with themotor, jusat that you couldnt wire in the new board without the neew wiring. As long as its the same board i cant see why that wont work. as far as the "wax motor" that was a seperate issue burning out the Top control board, total seperate then your problem,., dont really see an issue with installing your "used board"
