My computer has been serviced, lost all information, cannot find the cd to reload the software? where can I find another CD rom for my palm tx?

Since you don;t have a CD ROM you can reload the printer software by downloading first the software from this link and use this to reload the software to your computer.

Yes if you go to palm.com you will find a section for support. You can download everything you need there to get your PDA up and running. Once you have the software installed on your computer you will want to go in and enter all your information like names and addresses in your contact section. Once you have that all done you connect the PDA to the computer by using the usb cord and then hit HotSync. You can go back later and update any of your infomation right in the PDA itself. Try this, uninstall your current version of Palm Desktop, then go to this link on the Palm support website http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/tungsten/tx/unlocked/home/page_en.html this will give you the link to the download for the TX version of Palm Desktop, this may or may not fix your particular problem but it is worth a try.

I had the same problem with my TX.  When I moved, I lost the CD.  I think what you have to do is contact Palm to get a replacement CD.  It might be a small charge for it, but the drivers are on that CD and that will make it work.
Are you using Vista at all?

You could erase the software by pressing the reset button to reboot it and holding down the power button until the erase screen appears. Select yes and reload the software from the CD.

You should try reloading the software back into the TX. In order to do it, you will have to erase your TX memory. Make sure you back up your files first.

To erase the memory press the reset button until the reboot screen appears. Hold down on the power button until the erase memory screen appears. Select yes. Reload software from Palm CD.

You will probably have to erase the memory to the TX and reload the software to fix it.
