When I download adobe reader I can't open the .dmg file after it's downloaded...what do I do to install it?

A .dmg is a disk image file made for Mac operating systems. If you are operating with Windows, you should download the windows .exe file by going to THIS site and selecting all the pertinent information.

If you are working on a Mac, you might have had some issue when downloading that partially corrupted the file, so you should try re-downloading it and trying again. Once you've downloaded it, it should be as simple as double-clicking on the .dmg icon which will open the installer window, then (depending on how it's set up, I'm not working on a mac right now so I can't check) you'll either need to drag an icon to your applications folder, or open an installer.

Please explain what it is you are trying to do.

Downloading Adobe is simple just go to www.google.com and type download adobe reader ( if you want adobe flash player, or adobe shockwave just enter them in the search). Download and Install the product from Adobe's website.

I'm not sure what you meant by Open Adobe Files?? Maybe you are saying you need to open adobe files but can't. Download Adobe Reader then you will be able to open adobe PDF files.

Hello, well, you need to install a pdf reader. pdf stands for Portable Document File and is provided free by the company called Adobe Acrobat. Just Google for 'pdf reader' and download and install that first. By the way, you don't 'run' a pdf file, you 'open' it. Maybe you already have Adobe Acrobat reader, but have never used it so your computer doesn't 'know' what to do with a pdf file. So, right-click on the pdf file that you downloaded, and select 'open with' and look to see if you have Adobe Acrobat as an option. Then try selecting it. If you don't have itas an option then look for the free download. Regards, nicam49
