You can reboot your laptop by clicking the Windows logo at the bottom right, click Shut Down..., and then click Restart.
If your computer is frozen or is lagging badly, you can also hold the power button on your laptop until it turns off, then turn it back on. Hope this helps.

Press Start(ORB at bottom left for vista/w7) and if you're on windows 7/vista, there should be a list button on the bottom right side of the start menu saying "Shutdown"(windows 7) and "Sleep"(Vista), click the list and click Reboot.

On XP you need to click the Shutdown button and before you click shutdown instead click Reboot(Green button If i recall correctly).
