Hi.Yes the drum paddles are available, they just clip in.There are 3 types so make sure you get the correct ones,Also the broken bits from the back of the old ones can end up in the pump and jam it, so it might be worth cleaning the filter after you have done a wash.

Purchased 2/20/2010 from Best Buy. 5 yr problem free. Now we are getting black marks on our white laungry. Cannot see where this is coming from. Is there a chemical that can clean this up?

Not real familiar with LG but in most dryers, when you get black marks on clothes it will usually be on things like collars or cuffs that are catching in the edge of the drum where it meats the stationary part of the cabinet. That usually means a drum seal needs replaced. some are made of felt and need glued in and some are like a plastic/nylon strip that snap into holes in the drum

After replacing valve coils it now makes thumping noise reassembled it twice

Thumping noise is usually something with the drum system. You didn't list make and model so I'll give a few suggestions. If its Whirlpool--- the drum rides on 2 rubber rollers at the back edge that wear and need replaces if the rubber gets too bad. The front edge of the drum has a 2 piece plastic bearing strip that snaps into square holes in the front drum edge. Those 2 strips sometimes break or chip and need replaced.

If its a Frigidaire dryer----the back drum bearing is a small round metal ball that looks like a small trailer hitch ball. If fits inside a slotted plastic retainer block. The plastic block wears and the ball sometimes gets grooved and needs replaced. It comes as a complete kit (ball and socket) for about $20. The front of the drum has a similar system plastic strip as the Whirlpool I described above. Hope this helps.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery dryer model gler341as2 that squeels cer loud at times. what kind of grease do I use on the back shaft and tensioner?

That is a Hi Temp grease. It is sold under a Frigidaire part number
#5303307893. If any of the parts at that back ball assembly are worn, it should be replaced. Don't try buying the parts separately, they sell a complete back bearing kit that sells much cheaper than if you purchased each part. The kit also comes with the HI temp grease inside. Here is the kit # 5303281153. Includes that trailer hitch looking ball and the socket it fits into. Also look at the drum front edge. Should be a plastic bearing strip all the way around the drum opening that just snaps in place. Its in 2 section. If broken or missing replace those also. Thats the front bearing surface..

My GE GCVH6260FWW front load washer made a load snap while spinning. Repair man couldn't find anything. So we ran a load through and at the end of the wash cycle it started thumping and vibrating on high...

If the drum is also loose, it is dead. The plastic your are finding comes from a part inside. It will cost more (or close) to fix than to replace and you risk breaking other critical parts if you DYI.

A broken agitator paddle can cause your clothesto tear. Don't let this happen when replacing one is relatively simple.

The plastic paddles in the drum on the laterwashing machines often come loose and come off altogether. They can bereplaced. call them lifters. You usuallyinsert a small screwdriver down one of the holes (it's the 3rd one on ) andgently press down while sliding the lifter out.
Washing trainers in a washing machine is reputedto damage the drum lifters and paddles inside the drum, particularly onnon-quality washing machines.

Plastic things inside the drum have all come off,

If they have come off, it is because they are worn or broken. You need to fit 3 new ones
They are referred to as drum or clothes lifters, thier purpose being to move the clothes around.
Do not use the washer until you have got them fitted.
They usually slide and click into the slots in the drum.

Blue dye under three seperators inside dryer drum.

ok " you would have to pull the drum to get at those screws

what I would do is use a tooth brush with some bleach
that should take care of it.
