Has anyone experienced a blurred image in the view finder of the 3030Z? I have adjusted the diopter knob on the side and the autofocus marks are sharp but the image I want to photograph is NEVER sharp. I compared it to my Nikon 6006 view finder image thinking there was possibly something wrong with my eyes but the Nikon's view finder was perfectly sharp. Are there any other adjustments I can make or is this the nature of the beast? I expect the image to be perfectly sharp just like my Nikon. Am I expecting too much from a digital camera compared to film? I've had the camera for two days and I'm extremely disappointed in this aspect of it and am thinking of returning it. Any help would be much appreciated.
The viewfinder image should look sharp & clear, as long as the camera is turned ON. If the camera is OFF, the viewfinder image will blur. At least this is how it works on my C2000z. If your viewfinder is always blurry, I would return the camera for exchange.
