It all depends on the connections on the camcorder and the TV - you will need to look in the manual for each item to find this out, then see if you can obtain a compatible lead.

I have a Sharp VL-E760 viewcam LCD that records on 8mm tape. The battery no longer charges and I have a tape inside that wont come ojt because it needs the battery. Is the problem the charger itself

The problem is most likely the battery itself when you have finished using your kit and wish to put it away never put it away with a half or fully charged battery as it will not last always run it down and never leave a tape in either.

What type of cassette do i need for a sharp VL-A10 viewcam 8

You need to use a tape that says 8mm or Video8 only. I have provided a link to the type of tape that we would use.

There are tapes that say Hi8 and Dig8 on them. These tapes will not work properly in your camcorder because they are the wrong format. Your camcorder would probably chew the tape at some point if you tried to use this kind.

if you do abit of searching your bound to find a websight with a converter of some kind, or you can also go to most large electronic retailers, and by a converter

there is differnt quailtitys in the 8mm tapes, i knwo there is a real HQ one that if its used int he standard 8mm cam corder you will only get audio from it. hope this helps in some way.

With the Sharp Viewcam ®, there's no need to use an adaptor to play 8 mm tape. Simply connect the Viewcam ® to the TV or VCR for playback. You can even use your VCR to make a copy onto VHS tape.
