Try to lighten the screen reolution. Turn the calculator on, press the 2nd key. Then hold the down arrow key. This should lighten the screen. You can darken the screen also. The only difference is hold the up arrow key down until it's dark enough.

Laptop black screen

You turned on your laptop and horrors upon horrors, the screen is BLACK! You see that the laptop has power but besides that nothing is happening.
I want you to know that there is a very good chance you can get out of this situation quickly and without any cost. This fix works on all brands of laptops:

• 1) TAKE OUT YOUR LAPTOP BATTERY
• 2) REMOVE YOUR AC ADAPTOR CORD, that's the wall power, remove it.
• 3) NOW HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS
That will drain any static electricity that has built up on your laptop system board and many times fixes the problem of a black screen.
After the 30 seconds re-connect your laptop to the wall power and hit the power button normally and see if the laptop comes back up.
Replace your battery.
or if wont start
Here are the fix steps:
1. Turn off your computer
2. Disconnect every wire from it (including power)
3. Disconnect the battery from the bottom of the computer.
There will be two tabs labeled 1 and 2.
4. Re-plug in the power wire. (the battery should not be in the computer)
5. Turn on the power. The screen will work. Choose start windows normally. (if you get that screen)
6. Go to Control Panel -> (Mobile PC) -> Power Options -> Under Balanced choose change plan settings
7. Choose Change advanced power settings
8. Find Processor power management and change the minimum processor state from 5% to 100% for each On battery and Plugged in.
9. Click Apply then OK
10. Shut down you computer.
11. Disconnect the power cord.
12. Re-install the battery on the bottom of the laptop, plug in the power cord, and restart the computer.

Cp9430r

Fixed Hunter ceiling fan with remote light pin out wiring 9 wire plug search words
Hunter Ceiling Fan with remote, fails to turn on light, fails to turn on fan..remote receiver is Cp9430r
1) Test your remote, Hunter uses Radio Frequency remote, point RF remote one inch from antenna of working AM radio, press each button on remote, each button will produce static sound from AM radio, if no sound..check battery wiring or solder connection on loop antenna of remote. If no sound on one or more buttons, disassemble and wash key pad with dish soap, rinse and fan dry, retest. If still one button no work apply graphite paint to button to rebuild conductivity of button.
2) Cp9430r receiver is below fan and above light. Remove light assembly, check receiver dip switches, mine was #5 On 1~4 Off, check remote control dip switches in 9v battery compartment also set #5 On 1~4 Off, new 9v battery still no Fan reversal "click" sound heard coming from the large Blue fan reversal relay located inside the Cp9430 receiver. All other buttons control transistors and will make no sound even if they are working.
3) Disassemble / unplug 9 wire plug from Cp9430r receiver, place receiver on wooden table, 9 wire plug has two empty pin squares, one empty in the center, the other empty we will call #1 ..counting clockwise #2,#3...#4,#5..#6,#7and finally top center next to empty #1 is #8. Now #8 is 110v hot/black ...& #4 neutral/white.
4) Shock Danger..carefully apply ac volts to pins #8,#4 use tape if needed, locate quad operational amplifier i call it radio receiver chip HA17324 on board, google HA17324 Datasheet, locate leg #14 it is across from leg #1. Locate small yellow ceramic capacitor very near leg #14, use capacitor's neg as neg for voltmeter, test volts at #1,#7,#8 and #14. My #1 was 3.1v, #7 3.2v, #8 3.25v and #14 .01v ...why #14 so low? I monitored each leg while pressing remote control buttons...no changes. **Desperate, I sparked (1/2 second or less) #14 with 3.14v from positive leg of yellow capacitor** and retested all legs, no change except now #14 rests at .02v and jumps to 2.5v~2.8v when any button on the remote is pressed then rests at .02v. Now Lights work, Fan speeds work, Reverse rotation Works :-)
Pin Out on 9 wire plug, #1 Empty pin, #2 Alternates w up/down fan rotation, #3 goes to 5uf fan capacitor other side of cap goes to white/neutral AC Line, #4 AC Line neutral, #5 goes to Triac? speeds? , #6 Alternates up/down fan rotation goes to up/dn blue relay, #7 goes to up/dn blue relay looks to be AC hot looking for fan probably paired with #3 changing sides at up/dn blue relay, #8 AC Line hot in. Why did **sparking** work, smarter people might know, i think a small spark got stuck in the chip and sparking helped the chip release it out. No electrical education, novice. Jer. 51 8,9 and 11

THE VIBRATION OF MY PS2 IS NOT WORKING. HOW CAN I LOCATE THE PROBLEM AND SOLVE?

If your ps2 controllers aren't vibrating anymore then this could be the fix that you were waiting for.

WARNING: Make sure that 1) Its not your controller that is broken, test it in a machine that does have vibration. 2) Make sure that the vibration option is turned ON in your games

If you are sure that your controllers aren't broken, then you may have blown a fuse inside your ps2 on your mainboard.

To fix it you have to remove a blown fuse from the ps2 mainboard and either put a new fuse there or replace it with a piece of single strand wire. The point is fairly small so you need a fine tip soldering iron and a single strand of wire. It may be best to get someone who is good at soldering to do this fix for you:

I take no responsibility for anyone breaking their ps2 when performing this fix. All I know is that i've done it and it worked a treat!

You will need;

1) A fine tip soldering iron and some thin solder.
2) A single strand piece of wire, something thin like kynar or enameled wire.
3) A game with vibration function to test the ps2 afterwards.
4) A controller that works with vibration.

Between the power supply connector and the PS9 fuse there is a small black square with 2 silver prongs on the left hand side. This featured on my mainboard as well, and I was able to locate the correct / broken fuse using a multimeter. Look for a fuse with S7 on the top near here, and check for continuity, If there is none then thats the one! One last thing before it goes into full detail;

Check the track between the black square with the silver prongs and the broken fuse, if its on the same track then you can attatch one end of the wire to that prong that is on the same track, and the other side to the end of the fuse opposite of the black square with silver prongs *

This will take bout 10 mins to do - start to finish.

Below tells you how to do it

Below is a description on where and what to look for i.e. the fuse, and how to repair it.

1. I have a V5 PS2

2. Take the PS2 apart.

3. Remove the Power Supply motherboard.

4. After removing the Power Supply Board, you will need to remove the metal shroud and expose the entire PS2 Motherboard.

5. Once you have done this look around the connector for the Power supply board on the PS2 mother board. You will see a number (maybe around 4 of them all located within 2 inches of the Power supply connector) of fuses with "S7" written on it.

6. The one you are looking for has the text "PS9" written on the motherboard next to it.

7. Check it with a multi-meter, for continuity, there will none. If you are not sure, you can check all of them, when the buzzing on multi-meter stops, that's the one.

8. To repair it, use a strand of wire, possibly from an old extension cable or something, but only one strand. Solder it on both sides of the fuse in order to close the connection.

9. Reassemble the PS2.

10. Boot up and play your game, vibration is back.

Hope This Helps

Triple rocker switch to control 3 function bathroom fan/light

I suggest you cut 3 pigtails out of your black wire (about 5-6" each and strip them so you can put a nut to tie them all together on the main wire, then do the same for your grounds using green 5-6" strips of wire and then connect all 3 switches with the pigtails to their proper locations. This WILL fix your problem.
