First, do not remove the cut end from the unit. You want to leave that intact, so that you can match the wiring leads, when installing the new one. You can order a new cord thru any independent Frigidaire Dealer. The Big Box stores won't be able to help you. or thru a Frigidaire Parts Distributor. To find one near you, go to http://www.frigidaire.com/partsdistributorlocator and enter your Zip Code.

Whatever you do, DO NOT try to splice the cord. Serious damage or injury could occur.

Hope this helped you.

Get some tape and splice it back to gether. wire nuts would be best .. just make certain your connections are tight and well taped.

Casio LK-100 keyboard is turning off often when chords are played, esp in lower octaves - seems like a short. Where might the short be - way to fix without taking the whole keyboard apart?

Sounds like a lack of power from the external "wall wart" power supply. Is it the correct one that can supply enough current for a chord to be played? (a chord will play more notes at the same time & pull more power from the supply in order to make the sound(s)) If it's the correct power supply or one of the correct current rating check the cable & the connector both at the end of the cable & where it plugs into the keyboard. Perhaps the lead has been tugged accidentally? / Damaged in some way? Turn the volume down a little & see if that helps - that will confirm the power theory :-) Good Luck!

Buffalo hard drive connection cable has been jammed in and now wont fit

I would replace the outer shell or caddie the drive uses. It sounds like you have damaged the USB connection on it.

Power cord not working

Try unpluggin the power cord and check with battery.
Check whether battery is charging with the power chord on.
Try with a different wall socket.
If this does not help.
Try with a different power chord of the same kind and check whether it works.
If yes, the power chord is the ussue. Best would be to replace it.
else
Try your power chord in a laptop similar kind and check whether the other laptop works fine.
Try juggling the power cord and check whether it gives supply. If yes then check for AC adapter for any damages or cuts. If any is found the contact manufacturer for replacement.
else Main board is the issue.
But before this I would request you to go to the website and check for Updated BIOS and updates for chipset driver.
If any is available then download and install.
Check with your AC adapter if it works, Good, else I would request you to contact the manufacturer for a Main board issue.
They would replace the main board if under warranty.
