You need a Mpeg4 recorder. And if you have blue ray and want it to rip it to mpeg4, you need a decoder on you computer.
Just google around on Mpeg4 and digital ripers. But be aware you can't connect the DVD player to a computer with the DHMI connector, because there are digital rights, inhibiting to use full HA on a computer when connected to HDMI.
I sent my camera to a repair center for samsung and they replaced the ccd at no charge and it fixed the problem. I have used it and all is working and playing the old tapes as well.
