Re: Problem loading windows drivers
The installation CD contains specific drivers for backward compatibility with Win 98SE (Second Edition).
If you attempt to install the software with current operating systems, you will see a message that is not pertinent to you. Consumer's using ME (Millennium), Windows 2000 (Win2K) and Windows XP only need to install the ULEAD (Photo Editor and MS Formatter under Install Applications)
Under Install Drivers: DVC Driver is not necessary.
You only need to install the PHOTO EDITOR and MS FORMATTER.

you need to load the device driver prior to starting the install as it looks as if the windows installation drivers do not support your DVD drive. Get the driver on a USB stick and load it at the first of the install.
To install a printer in window 7, you need the printer installation CD/software.
Connect the printer to your system via a USB Cable (or any other cable necessary). Power on the printer. If you use a USB cable, windows 7 will automatically detect the printer and try to install it for you. However, if windows 7 does not have the driver, you will be prompted to load the drive from CD or a file location. If you have the Driver CD, load it now or browse to the folder where the driver software is located and load the software. Follow the on screen instruction to complete the installation.
Also From start------devices and printers ------ add a printer ------add local printer ----- use an existing port, next ----------choose the printer manufacturer and the printer model. If not on the list and you have the installation CD choose have Disk and then next. Follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation.
You can also run the Printer driver software and follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation.
You need to load the RAID driver for your controller. Go to Adaptec's website and download the 2003 driver for it. You will put the files on a floppy disk and load them at the F6 prompt during Windows Setup (right after it boots from CD). If you don't have a floppy drive/disk, then use nLiteOS.com to integrate the drivers (text-mode) into your installation media.
