Question about Casio Cassiopeia E-100 Pocket PC

I can't perform Active-Sync with my Serial Cable to Casio E-100!?

Help Someone, I was able to Sync my Casio E-100 to my PC recently, but now I can't. I deleted a bunch of stuff of the Casio including communication, but on the device it still says trying to connect. I've uninstalled active sync and re installed it and rebooted my Casio e-100. What should I do?

You might try this.... Assuming that you deleted a file you shouldn't have, perform a hard reset on the Casio. You know the type, the type that will erase everything from memory and reset the device to like new. I think you hold down the power button while pushing the reset or something like that if I remember correctly. If you've already reinstalled activesync, they you would be all set.

I cant delete files from my Sandisk M250 mp3 player


Just called Scan Disk if the device got a setting wrong:
Turn the Scan Disk on:
Go to Setting;
Select USB
Change the selection to Autodetect

Go back to Windows Media player the songs should show up..Worked for me.

CANT DELETE PROGRAM


Try deleting it from your pc using the device explorer icon, or using active sync sofware that came with your phone.

E -100 Help


Casio had a cable that had a serial port on one side and a connector to the E-1XX on the other side. Activesync works through this: I searched on Casio E-100 sync cable serial in Yahoo. It found two hits for a cable under $40. That should allow you to install programs over your serial port. I have persoanlly only used Etronics form the list of two and they did what they said they would do. http://www.abfnet.com has a bunch of be'ers that can help you - you can also search the forum for ton's of answers. One thing, if you have Microsoft Activesync on your system pc connect won't work unless you shut off the activesyncs access to usb ports. Just a thought.

Activesync Problem, Help Pls


Try the following. FIRST & FOREMOST BACKUP YOUR DEVICE TO A "CF CARD" USING THE BUILT IN "CardBackup" UTILITY. This is a much faster option than using ActiveSynch. It ca restore also much faster. Once your files have synched go to options & change the synch options to manual & file conversions to NONE. Remove or switch off the device. Next delete the partnership WITHOUT DELETING THE SYNCH FOLDER !!! Be very careful. Switch on or replace the device on the cradle. Active synch should recognise the device & offer to setup the partnership. Let it do so with "THIS COMPUTER ONLY" option. Once your device is scanned by activesynch one of the options it will offer is of combining the records. Select it & let it synch. I most cases this should solve the problem. Hope this helps.
