Hi I have the FDR1800S refrigerator and it keeps leaking water into the frig area from the freezer. Is this a known problem? It seems odd that there is a clear passage from the freezer and frig. It makes me wonder if there is a piece missing. Is there a manual I can reference? Would appreciate any information you can provide. Thank you, Cindy

Frig and freeze work fine!! But an ordor started and is staying!!

Most likely some raw meat juice leaked into a spot you can not see or get to. The defrost heater area and / or the defrost drain are the most likely suspects. If you can diss-assemble enough to get to these to clean, you stand a good chance of conquering your odor problem. Additionally, there is one odor absorber that has worked rather well for me, but I don't remember the exact name,.... but I'll post it in an additional comment tomorrow.

Water leaking from the front-bottom of the freezer drawer

A faulty door gasket will definitely cause excessive condensate and running time. There is also a door heating system which is from heated refrigerant circulating around the area where door gasket meets cabinet. You should be able to feel a certain amount of warmth in this area. If not there could be condensation again from cold leaking out of the gasket and being formed on the actual cabinet.

Kenmore 106.78202890 Ref. Icemaker seems to work fine. No water leaks when it fills but I have water in the refrigerator section that seems to be draining from the freezer. Any ideas?

Hi there, I believe you may have a defrost drain problem. See the water has to drain somewhere else when the drain is stopped up. So instead of into the catch basin on the bottom of the frig it cascades down the backside of the frig and ends up under the crispers. To fix the problem you must clear the defrost drain. It is located beneith the evaporator coils. When the frost on those coils melt it turns to water. Remove the freezer access panel, and clean out the drain. Use some hot water or a shop vac.
