I have a Panasonic PV-GS15 camcorder and was trying to transfer over using NERO Vision Express 2, but NERO was locking up when I tried.
I was trying to use a USB to do this, but I am wondering if I have to use a DV Firewire in stead and that is why it was not working.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I haven't found Nero DVD creation to be stable. Try something else.
Also noteworthy is that 98se (and don't complain to me when I write this) is not a suitable OS due to that 4GB filesize limit and "resources".
You have to live with those issues and reboots too. I can't offer a solid fix for that. I will share that my setups of XP, Windows 2000 and other software are "very nice."

Make sure your tape tab is open. See if this works. Sometimes the tab should be closed to prevent eraser or recording over existing film but sometimes the tape tab has to be open to allow for playback or dubbing?
Hi, after looking at the manufacturer's site, I didn't see a download for a specific driver for the pv gs15. However, you might try to run a free scan here for Panasonic drivers and see if it has the driver you are looking for. Good luck, hope this helps!
Your tape has a small latch on it that closes to protect from recording or eraser and opens to allow for playing or dubbing. Slide it open and see what happens.
Anyone have any idea where I can get the software for a Panasonic
PV-GS15, to be able to pull video from my camera to my PC? Or do you
kno w any way around software??
first of all you should have your cd driver came with camcorder and as far as i know your driver isnt compatible with vista so better try to use windows xp. install the driver, plug your camcorder using your usb. upload your videos from your camcorder to your pc using ULEAD MOVIE MAKER. edit it and save it with any various types of videos. finish!
What u need at the minimum is an addon card for downloading(refer to the manual for the exact No. it is something like IEEE1395 or so) Then connect the cam to this thro' the cable.
If u use windows xp u have a movie maker. u can use that s/w. Else try to get pinnacle studio or studio 8 to dump and edit etc.
all the best.
