I have a whirlpool ultimate care II top loading washer that completes the full cycle but clothes are still wet. I just did a load unde casual for 6 washes and after the water drained I get a loud ringing sound but no spin. After 5 mins the loud ringing sound stopped. Then a couple of minutes went by and the rining sound statred again and now water is filling the basket.

be either a broken/bad impeller or the drain pump assembly. You can disassemble
top deck, neck ring, agitator and inner bowl and use a container to empty the
bowl. Check for any foreign objects by inspecting from above by removing
pump hood, cap and impeller and check for obstructed drain hose. Also check the
pump hood cap and impeller and the bolts securing the pump bracket are tight. Replace
