I am hearing a loud wind noise from the back side lower part of dlp

For me that is normal they call that engine brake. If you ever drove a manual transmission car from high gear to low gear it will do the same thing, but if you are driving a Automatic car it will not do that because the clutch is automatic you will not hear that loud noise.

The noise you hearing is the rear end bearings going bad
you should get them replaced as soon as possible
the longer you drive on them the more damage you do
and they could lock up

1. How old is the unit?
2. Kindly hear the noise - Is it from the freezer section or upper back or lower back of the refrigerator?
3. Do you hear the compressor running?
4. Any problem with temperature in lower section or is it limited to freezer section?

This DLP tv have a colors wheel.No,the colors wheel is dying,just not dead yet.It spinning off of it motor axis,when it total dead it will have black&white pics,very loud squiling motor noises.Ur tv need a new colors wheel.Call the tv repair tech for this job,require take out many machanicals parts,before even can take the colors wheel to replaced.Never done this before,don't atemp to replaced the colors wheels ur self.

My tv just came on by itself and now just keeps going back and forth from off to on over and over

do you hear any winding, whirling or screeching noise. What you may be hearing could be the color wheel.

take back lower cover off check the fan see if there is somthing in it, clean the coils while your down there take front grill off and clean there too, make sure you put the back, back on it needs to be there or fride will overheat

Sounds like the colorwheel (used in DLP projection sets with a single DLP panel) is going bad, either the wheel itself or the bearings on the motor driving the wheel are starting to fail. I would recommend getting a professional to service the TV set.
