Upload straight from camera. Is there an application out there that will make it possible to upload direct from the camera to enable images to be posted onto forums? Either direct to the forum post, or via a hosting site like imageshack

Yes, If you use picasayou can email your pics to your account. Also Picasa 3 is out of beta and isthe pc side client and will allow you to upload pics from the phone or acamera, edit them (adjust light, color, darken shadows, sharpen) and upload tothe web. You can set it to sync with your web account so any pics added oredited will auto update so what is on your pc is whats on the web. The geo tagsshow where the pic was taken if you turn it on. And it is owned by google so itwill link to gmail and other google services. On your gmail page click on<photos> at the top of the page.
Also on your picasa home page click on <new features> at the top of thepage scroll to the bottom and look for "picasa web for mobiledevices", click on "use your mobile device", input your phonenumber and in about a minute you will get a text with a link in it, click onthe link and it will take you to your picasa home page and you will see youralbums and be able to browse your online photos on your G1, hit menu, addbookmark, done. Now you can upload via email and download via web and manageyour pics in your account.
To email pics to the account look under (settings) at the top of the page andcheck the box "Allow me to upload photos by email" it lists the emailaddress to send them to.
One last thought add a contact called Picasa with the email address from theabove so when you take a picture hit menu, share, picasa, send, whamo picuploaded. Side benefit, you have your pics backed up online, no app to take upmemory, and you don't have to buy a bigger sd card to hold your pics.

Hi, I have the Nikon Coolpix 3000 and I've recently had some problems. I have only had this camera since December; Several times I have tried to upload pictures and "this file contains no image...

You can try to reformat the sd card. Sometimes cards will contain data that disrupts the reading process.
Also, sometimes if you edit images on the pc, such as rotating them in Window's image viewer, it will rewrite the image as a jpeg that is unrecognized in the camera.
Lastly, check to see if the photos are being saved to the sd card or the camera.

How do you upload pictures to facebook from picasa

hi friend,
I use Picasa desktop tool to keep my photos organized and upload them to Picasa Web albums, however I use Face book too pretty often and was looking for a tool to upload photos from Picasa directly to Facebook.
There are a few different ways to upload photos to Facebook one is a Facebook-from-your-desktop.html" target=_blank>Facebook photo Uploader and another is a plug in to Facebook-using-windows-live-gallery.html" target=_blank>upload images to Facebook from Windows Live Gallery, however if you are a Picasa user there is another tool called Picasa Uploader which will allow you to upload images from Picasa directly to Facebook.
To upload images from Picasa to Facebook, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Download the Picasa Uploader application, you will be prompted to launch the Picasa application when you click on the download link.
Step 2: Add the Facebook Button to Picasa by clicking on the Add button.
Step 3: Follow the steps to authorize the application to access Facebook.
Step 4: Select the photos you want to upload to Facebook, and click on the Facebook button from the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: A new window will open up, if you have already authorized access to Facebook, you will see a screen where you can add information about the album.
When the albums are uploaded you will have to personally login to Facebook and approve the uploaded photos, if you do not want to that everytime, just click on the enabling extended access, clicking on this link will show you a screen to authorize the application to upload photos.
If you do not authorize the application to upload photos you will have to login to Facebook and go to your photos and then approve the images.

On the other hand if you allowed the application to upload photos to Facebook, it will show up in your albums.
Pretty easy right, this is definitely a great tool for Picasa users who also use Facebook and will definitely save them a lot of time.

hope this helps u
please rate me................
thank u for using fixya
