Printing, sw, virus ?
It's possible that it's a virus, but probably not. I'm having a hard time following your testing process above and the amount of equipment you're using. You've complicated the debugging process a little bit with introducing many computers and printers in the description.
Are you using one computer? Do you have just one printer that's not working? With a general symptom like this, try and stick with one of your devices, and switch out the others. For example, if your trying to print to ANY printer, the PC would seem to be the problem. Be sure the printer drivers have been deleted and reinstalled fresh. Printers are pretty straight forward, it's the drivers and the computer communicating with them that are rather finicky.
It's usually a printer driver problem. My best advice is to pick the computer of choice, completely remove the printer drivers (you might have to go in to Safe Mode of the computer, pressing F8 when the system boots, prior to the Windows Logo and choosing Safe Mode), once in there, remove any or all printers from the system; click YES to any messages that ask you to delete the drivers from the system. Reboot. Disconnect your printer, reinstall the drivers, connect the printer and try printing from Notepad.
Remember to keep it pretty simple, especially when asking for advice and indicating what steps you've already gone through.
Keep asking questions and I'll get you resolved. Let me know what you come up with from here.
