Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T500 Digital Camera

I have Sony Cybershot DSC T200 camera. It can take perfect pictures, but I can't see anything in LCD screen as it has colored vertical lines all over the screen. What can be the issue ?

If your pictures taken with the camera are seen when downloaded to the PC, the it is sure that the LCD is faulty or damaged.
The presence of vertical lines show that the processor driver to the LCD has failed. You have confirm cost of the new LCD before it can be decided.

You have a faulty LCD display, possiblly a faulty CCFL lamp that supplies backlight.
You need to get the camera serviced.

Hi your unit has lcd defective. you can do your self or bring to your local repair shop. They would charge around $115 to 165 depend on what they really want to charge.

I dropped my sony cybershot and now there is nothing on the display screen except vertical colored lines on the right side.

The screen is damaged, you will need to replace it or take it to a camera repair shop.

Its bad ccd imager problem in your Sony DSC-T1 camera and Sony will repair it free of cost.

Black vertical lines on LCD screen

The CCD screen, or the CCD ribbon cable, or the CCD driver board may be defective, or there may be cold solder connections on the circuit board.

These cameras are serviced by changing modules, circuit boards, specific parts.

You will have to give the camera in for service.
