I have a Motorola ROKR S9. The problem I have now is that it refuses to start. When I plug it into the charger it makes 2 green blinks and then starts to charge (red light) for about 10 seconds and then the red light goes off. If I hold down the power button when the green light blinks, the indicators starts blinking purple. When trying to start it while it's unplugged, nothing happens.

SOURCE: Trying to pair Motorola HS850 to cell but I hold down button and light comes on but won't stay on

I got mine 'over the net' as the last person put it and it seems to work fine, It's paired with a Samsung A900, an Audiovox PPC-6700 and now an Apple iPhone with no problems. All work fine when holding the button down until the light comes on, then opening the boom. If you try to detect it from the phone it will find a headset or HS850 for use. If you use the 0000 code it will connect. My only complaint is that it won't pair with more than 1 phone at once. multiple phones can be in the profile of the HS850 but you have to disconnect and connect from each phone

SOURCE: My motorola h721 keeps blinking red.

if you didn't pair your phone up yet, that could be why. Hold all 3 buttons down for 10 sec. should go solid blue, then pair your phone cause its in discovery.

Recently i have purchased Motorola S9 blutooth head set. Kindly let me know what type of motorolla charger to be used 1.5amp or 2 amp since there are 2 chargers available. And also while charging, within...

Bluetooth headsets, like many portable devices can be charged on a USB port on a computer, which supply less than 1A, so either charger would be suitable.
Looking at the manual, a full charge should take two hours, so half an hour seems a little quick.
Perhaps it was part charged?
You could see if you can listen to music for six hours on a charge, and if so how long it takes to charge then.

It is frozen with the green light on

try plugging in the charger to the headset, unplug the charger from the AC. If the light goes out see if the headset will connect.

Worked for me this way

Motorola s9 headset not charging

I had the same problem but instead of a red light it would flash green twice and stay off. I could not find the original charger and another plug in charger would not work. I plugged it into my computer with a usb cable and after several seconds it started charging.

How do I reset s9....the green light stays on constantly and I cannot connect at all.

If you guys haven't found a solution, you might want to try this out. Have your S9 charger hooked up to the unit and plug the charger into a surge protector. Flick the main switch of the surge protector on and off a few times and it should turn off the unit. Then turn on and pair if need to and it should be fine. Hope that works for ya!

USB plug to charge, yellow light not green

t_cosh you must try charging it with the wall-charger, if that doesn't works, try entering BL mode by pressing # and *, and then pull the trigger to turn it on.

It will tell you that battery is low, you can connect then the charger, pull the trigger again, it should start normally.

Motorola S9 headset won't charge batteries

This might work if you aren't using the ORIGINAL charger. I had this problem when my cat chewed through the original Motorola charger. I figured my Blackberry charger would work fine, but it didn't. I then discovered that my Blackberry charger was 700mAH and the broken charger was only 550mAH. When I found another charger with the proper power it charged. I also found that it worked when plugging it into my computer with a standard mini USB. I hope this helps.

S9 headset

I just hooked it up with a usb sync cable to my computer. It was installed and ready to use and the charging light came on. Seems like it is charging as the led went from red to yellow, and it does turn on now. However, it still does not work with the usb cable plugged into a wall charger. If this solution works for others having the same issue kindly post your results.
