SOURCE: How do I find out my wep key
Looks like you will have to login to the router from the other computer to find the key.
Usually, the address to the router admin screens is one of the following:
192.168.0.1 Linksys
192.168.1.1 NetGear
192.168.10.100 Motorola
Generally 192.168.1.1 will work for most.
Default Login:
Login = admin
Password = password (default - if this doesn't work, then you will need to find it or initialize the router)
Go to the WEP security Screen
NetGear EXAMPLE:
Security Encryption (WEP)
Authentication Type *Automatic*
Encryption Strength *64bit* (64 bit is sufficient - the network overhead is less than 128 bit)
Security Encryption (WEP) Key (The active key below is marked with *)
Passphrase *Blank*
Key 1 abcdabcdab (64 bit examples = 10 hex digits 128 bit will be longer string)
Key 2 dcbadcbadc
Key 3 123456789a
Key 4 *Blank*
Click logout when finished
LinkSys Example:
Wireless Network Menu
Wireless Network Mode Mixed
Wireless Network Name (SSID) MyWireless

WEP Encryption 64 bits (or 128 bits)
Passphrase

There is no logout for the LinkSys. Just disconnect
