Hi all! I have tried to access the internet with my E-125, while it was in the cradle. I have had no success what so ever, and I need help. Could someone give me a detailed account of "how to"? I would be very grateful, and can't wait to see internet displayed from my E-125, thanks!
Some times I wonder why people want to connect to the internet from the PPC via the cradle & the desktop PC. You have the PC right there , why would one want to use the small screen of the PPC ? I have used the serial cradle (from E-105) as well as external serial cable (from Casio) to connect an E-125 to the internet using a nul modem fashioned out of an old 386 serial port header ( both were 9 pin versions) & a standard D-Link 56 kbps serial modem.

It can be done! If found a manual on how to be online through the cradle in a E-125. I was able to get it to work as well. It requires getting a Registry Editor for your E-125, and a program for your computer as well. Let me see if I can find it. I know there is one, because I have done it.

I don't know about the craddle - but I guess it should work too. I use a USB cable - and it works okay. You need to run MS ActiveSync (install v. 3.5 - it's better), and when you see a green circle in your taskbar, you can try and access Internet (your desktop should, of course, be connected to Internet).

if u want to use internet in ur handset itself than u have to get it activated from SP and than do have to do some settings as well,
and if u want to connect with PC or a laptop u have to choose a connectivity medium first than it depends on ur connectrivity medium what the steps to be followed,
1) If u are conencting with a cradle than u have to install the drivers of the cradle on PC, than switch on the modem from ur handset after that put ur handset on cradle it will detect the modem than create a dialup connnection from control pannel>> network connection>> create a new acc. and than dial the connection the drivers u will get from the IMate site itself...
Thanx & best of luck.
