Question about Casio Cassiopeia PA-2400W
I have recently acquired a Cassiopeia 2400W (ce 2.0) Can anyone tell me what pcmcia modems will work with it (and where to get drivers!) Also what if any network cards work with it, and wether cables and a new stylus are available from anywhere?!? I love the toy, just need some more bits Cheers!

Apparently the device worked before you attempted to install Quake1. So component wise all should be well. One more thing you can try is to remove both batteries & leave it for a while. Install the main battery & then the Backup battery. Before starting make sure the main battery is fully charged. Now try to start the device & hopefully it should boot normally. If it freezes at the starting screen, very definitely something is not making proper contact inside the device & perhaps you should check out the connections within the device following the disassembly instructions at the pocketpcpassion site.

You do not install Windows CE, it is built into the Cassiopeia. What the CD is is the software for your computer to interact with the Cassiopeia.
