Won't work after power out

Just had the same issue after a brief power outage. Following the advice on this board, I simply unhooked the power cord to both the Wii and the outlet, waited a good 10 mins and hooked the cord back up - first to the outlet then to the Wii. Presto! Power light is back on.

Wii is dead

1. push the reset button and if that doesn't work unplug all cords and memory cards (including sd) from wii and unplug av from the wii and the outlet in wall. Wait 2-3 min or unplug the wii overnight and The trick i use was to literally smack the power supply on the ground and plug it back in. It seemed to work for a few weeks, until you buy a new power cord Don't call Nintendo unless you've got some money. it'll be $82 bucks.

Wii console is plugged in put won't turn on or power up...the thing is only four months old.

If you are using a muti-out lit device, unplug and use only wall outlits, if it is plugged into the wall, then plug in a working lamp to that same outlit to make sure the outlit is working. If you roll up the power cords alot or pull from outlit from the cord and not the base of the cord, you might have damage the cord internally. If you have a friend who owns a working WII then try using there cords on your console.
If nothing works, then possible the wii overheated. For further help on that, go to www.nintendo.com and go to support link.

My wii wont turn on but my paddels work fine

If by "paddles" you mean wii remotes or wiimotes then the wii is turned on and it sounds like you may have your video cable hooked up wrong.

The Wii console is not powering up at all.

Hi there, this is a power board failure. It seems to be a manufacturing error considering the fact that, this Wii is only 2 months old. i would excercise the warranty if possible and return for exchange. this is a defective unit.
