You can use another brand battery on your JVC camera as long as it meets the same specs as the original battery, however we recommend that you use a JVC battery to assure optimum performance from the battery and camera. If the camera is damaged by a third party battery the warranty will be voided and it will be up to the customer to cover the repair charges.

Why does my fully charged battery show only a 1/4 power and only alow me 3 pictures before it dies?

How old are your batteries, and are they Canon brand or a cheap eBay type off brand? Most times we see this the batteries are old and won't hold a full charge or are cheap off-brand ones.

Has the camera been exposed to intense moisture or fallen into water. Water damage can drain a battery quickly.

There is a software adjustment to set the battery inhibit voltage, but you will have to take your camera to Canon as it is proprietary software only they have

What brand batteries does kodak easysharec143 use

The C143 uses two standard AA batteries. You can use disposable alkaline or lithium batteries, or rechargeable NiMH batteries. You can use any brand batteries, though personally I'd stick with the major brands.

Digital cameras require BRAND NEW batteries.

Look for 2200mAh or higher batteries.

Brand new duracel or Energizers will only last about ten photos. Look for Rechargeable batteries, perhaps from a camera store.

If brand new batteries don't work, then the camera may be dammaged.

Also, be shure the plus and minus ( +\- ) signs line up as pictured on the camera too.

Cheers,
Richard.

Battery Problems

I had problem with the "brand new" battereis that came with camera (date on batteries was thru 2014) ... after 2 or 3 pictures ... camera would not work. I replaced with fresh batteries ... works great now. I checked voltage on shipped batteries (that came with camera) ... was about 1.3 volts ... new battereis should be 1.55+ volts. This suggests that shipped "brand new| batteries ... are not "brand new". I called Polaroid .. best I got was "sorry" ... and "call Duracell".
