Question about Casio Cassiopeia E-105 Pocket PC
I really do feel like a durn Caveman trying to figure out how to install stuff on this handheld. I have a lot of usless info on this thing and figure I need to do a HARD RESET. I have nothing of value on it and want to start again with the slate wiped clean. If ANY one out there would take pity on this confused idiot, I would be much abliged! I just want to put a few time killing games on it, maybe a few good apps that might help me out at work, maybe someting to listen to MP3's on and some sort of friggin new background..... That's all.... Thanks and I hope to hear from someone that has a E 105 or knows PDA's.. Duma
I too own an E-105 and we can at least be glad we have the 105 and not the 100 model. We have 32 mb of ram rather than 16. Unfortunately we also have something that is getting older by the minute. Our cpu is a MIPS R4000, so when you see software to download, make sure it is MIPS compatiable or you are SOL. And then not all MIPS software will run. I like to kill time too, luckily there are chess, checkers, backgammon games out there that run on our machines. If you are looking for super graphic killer type games...you are severely limited. I don't listen to music much on mine, I mean why run out of power on a pocketpc for music when you can buy a stereo radio which if you lose, isn't the end of the world. A hard reset isn't a bad idea when it gets too confusing, and is simple to do. The best thing is just to install each program one at a time and make sure they work before installing others.
