There's 4 things that could cause the problem:

1. The hose clamps are loose.
2. The duct hose(s) is over stretched.
3. The duct hose(s) is under stretched and water/humidity is accumulating in the slope of the hose,
creating unnecessary weight.
4. An obstruction in the hose(s) or exterior duct termination, causing back pressure in the hose

If you have any doubts about the proper installation of the hose duct, consult your Owner's Manual.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem..

Hi just got an audi a4 2001, 1.9tdi 130bhp, the windows keep fogging up and there doesnt seem to be air coming out of the vent for the front windscreen??? can anyone help??? the back windown is fogging up...

Windows fog up because of the humidity in the car. Run the ac and this removes the humidity from the air and the windows will not fog. If you do not have air flowing from the vents then check that the selection control is moving the vent doors . Check that the vacuum line is connected and not broken.

HEAT ONLY BLOWING WARM AIR ON PASSENGER SIDE

have someone check the driver's side temperature control doors, in behind the radio. there are two push rods attached to a plastic piece. the connector on one or both of these push rods, become unattached. leaving you with cold air. once that temperature door is closed you get hot air. passenger side still mixes, but not drivers. All or none for heat on Driver's side

Air keep's coming out of defroster vents and want it to come out of dash vents

Check for vacuum leaks on the engine. The air doors are vacuum controlled, and when they have no vacuum they only blow on the window.

Heating/Cooling air not coming out of dash panel vents...

Vaccuum hose has come unattached at the firewall that regulates the baffles in the ductwork. Look for a leak or unattached hose.
