3/4 of my camera screen is all white and i don't know what could have happened to it because i haven't dropped it, but it has been in my purse for a long time, but nothing in my purse is heavy enough to break it or cause the screen to go white?

Possible that the LCD screen has failed. You can take images and load them to the PC.,If the images are clean then the LCD is a suspect. remove the battery for sometime and reset. If the fault occurs as a blank screen then the LCD must be taken out and checked for possible damage.

I dropped my kodak easyshare m530 and now the screen is blank

Hello Zeidy, This is BAD NEWS no matter how you look at it, the repairs will exceed the price of a new camera.

THE LCD OF MY GE CAMERA IS COLOR VIOLET.. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENS.. IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG? i think it is in the battery..

If you dropped it, you could have dislarged one of the cables or color processor going to screen. Very expensive to repair if you can send it out. The battery should not cause that because it gives the right voltage (camera on) or the wrong voltage (camera can't turn on). Did water or STEAM get into the camera.? water can do it.

My camera screen is half covered in white. I have a panasonic Lumix DMC FP7

Hi, The white would be caused by dead pixels, sometimes it can be fixed, if you still have warranty on it (if you don't know if you do I can try and help you with that) I'd suggest sending it in to Panasonic. If you don't have warranty left I'd honestly suggest a new camera since fixing that can get expensive.

I dropped my Polaroid i735 Digital Camera once and the screen has been blurry...even the pictures turn out blurry. Is there any way to fix the screen?

You dropped it only once? Hmmmm ....

I don't think the problem is with the screen.
It's more like the lens can't focus properly anymore, and there is nothing you can do to fix it.

I'd take it to my local camera repair place, and give them the classic:
"Don't ask me what happened. I lent it to my baby-brother, and he said the camera worked OK."

They just may give you a free estimate.

How do outdoor pictures look when taken with the camera? If overexposed, first check that your camera is in automatic mode, and not some other manual exposure mode of the camera. Next, a stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open).
To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

Hello guys, please only reply if you have a realistic solution. I have a JVC HM100 camcorder and I have recently attached a cheap wide angle converter. Since then, my trouble started. When I take it off,...

When was the last time you white balanced your camera? I can't say for certain, but it sounds very similar to a problem I use to deal with all the time.
  1. set the ND filter according to the lighting
  2. set the WHT.BAL. switch to A or B
  3. locate a place with similar lighting conditions as the subject, place a white object near the center of the screen and zoom in to fill the screen with white
  4. press the auto white balance button
I got all of this from the manual. starting on page 35. I hope this turns out to be it. Let me know how it works out!
