I have the original manual for this alarm. I have this alarm but have lost the remote, I am trying to find out if I can get a remote for it and will it work, I have had this alarm since new have the original box etc. you can contact me through my e-mail.. [email protected]

You can get the original remote on Ebay. I purchased one for my tv and it works great. Plus it's pink!!!! If I were you I would look there to see if you can get the original one, rather then messing around with universal ones!!!

Don't you just hate that when the co-executors are so careless. :) (just kidding :)
You will need a remote but that's easy... Go here: http://www.miracleremote.com/ and get a miracle remote for a sony and they are as if you purchased the original remote. We have serveral here in the shop for various brands and they access all the functions of the original for a fraction of the cost...
Then just go into the menu and do an auto-program from setup.
