Re: cassiopeia E100, is there anyway to view excel files?
Yes there certainly is.
Get SpreadCe programme from ByeDesign. It can handle .xls files upto & including Office 2K in native format. Have no experience with Office XP.
As a matter of fact I find it better than Pocket Excel included in CE 3.0 and later.
I store my files under My Documents folder on the CF card using a USB card reader/writer.
Hope this helps.

Many years ago I transfered my SHARP organizer files too my first Palm III. The Sharp offered a file export option. I exported to CSV format and then from CSV to the Palm pdb.
Check the CASIO boards also.
The problem is most likely with the driver being for an older MIPS processor (like the one in the Casio E-100). Where did you obtain this keyboard. Targus did not really support the EM500 when the keyboard came out. Now, they don't at all. Email Targus www.targus.com or Stowaway www.thinkoutside.com for a new driver.
The Menu: VIEW - Categories option at the bottom, has all categories checked off. However, the logic dictates that it will only show the categories checked off, and if any appointment (appointments being made in outlook are not categorized) with no category would not show in the pocket pc. The logic written into the software, is, if no categories are checked off, then it will show ALL appointments. It would be nice if there was an option in the category view menu to SHOW ALL, but there isn't. You just have to uncheck all the categories.
There are several types of processors used - find out which yours has and be sure the software will work on that processor.
Mips are the three as I recall. I have three hand units and two different processors.
Try another CF card/accessory in the slot to determine if the CF socket on the E-125 is not damaged. Also run scandisk on it while plugged into the card reader on yopur PC.
There have been issues with 128 mb CF cards manufactured by SanDisk (who are OEM suppiers to several other brand names also ) randomly malfunctioning.
Inspect the pins in the CF slot on the PDA to see if any of the pins has been bent/corroded.
Hope this helps.
