Sandisk Micro 4GB Cruzer usb flash drive has malfunctioned and all the computers that I've used it on will not recognize it. Help now!

you can try run check hard drive changes,
and let the O/S pick it up, if not pick from the list of hardware devices, choose
usb mass storage, click on it and look for the maker name, pick your model.

if this those not work, run the driver from the cd that came with the USB device.

if not you will have to go for a update from O/S provider.

Win 7 does not recognize pen drive

From the SanDisk website it says Win2000 and WinXP certified. It says nothing about Win7. try it in a different pc with Xp and see if it works. If it does then it is not compatible with Win7

How to use flash drive

Cruzer Micro is an USB external memory where you can store files.
It is automatically detected and installed on all Windows OS from Windows 2000 onward, same on Mac OS and recent Linux versions.
All you have to do is plugging the device into USB.
After the flash drive had been automatically installed , it will be displayed under Computer as an external disk.
You can copy and transfer files using Cut, Copy and Paste functions, or Send to function in windows, or the file manager, depending on the OS used.
In Windows, before unplugging the memory from USB , it is better to turn off the computer or use the 'safely remove USB' function located near to the clock, on the lower right hand corner.
