SOURCE: I have hoover WDYN 855D. Im getting error e04
E04 means excess motor current
so is it leaking onto the motor
you need to drop off the back panel
and check around the base of the drum
exactly where the leek is coming from
if its not this
perhaps check around the motor and its connections for any sign of burned contacts
if none of the above then ask a tech to look at it
past it being something in the pump or filter
its best you do this
Hope this helps. If pressure switch and tube are both ok, it's either of the following:-
1. Faulty inlet valve;
2. Damaged or loose wiring;
3. Faulty Coreboard
