Hi:
I suggest that you use the RAW converter from Adobe. You have to have a software like Adobe Photoshop (CS2 it's the last version).
It worths the pricing when you're in Professional Photography.
Check if your camera is supported...

The Best one you can get is Adobe Camera Raw which you get with Elements 3 or photoshop CS. Fuji's converter is the same as its jpeg engine.
There are other free converters like S7RAW and Fer's free raw.You can try them but you get far better options and quality by using the ACR.

It's impossible to tell you what shutter and aperture settings would be best without actually being there. Why don't you just rely on the built-in meter? On a bright sunny day, you could set the ISO to its lowest setting and let the camera figure out the correct exposure.

I don;t know that Apple don't support viewing raw....I'm using photo viewer for mac Photo+ to view photos, most of them are raw formats, works great. You may have a try.
Just check out ebay - look for fuji convertor lenses, a pair of basic Raynox long and wide angle lenses are about £100 although you can buy higher spec ones for significantly more. With Jessops going through hard times they tend to put these in their junk/clearance bins - I got my wide angle for £1.39 after waiting for about 3 weeks for it to drop in price. Check out when they are closing or clearing stock. Guess all high st retailers will be in the same boat wherever you are based at the moment so willing to sell-off slow moving stock.
