The alarm display in the lower right corner on model #RC40-A keeps blinking and will not stop. This happens with both wake 1 and wake 2 options. I fixed it once by unplugging the unit but it this did not work the second time. Is there another solution?

Hello
Just reinstall the battries and adjust the time once again.

Battery back-up operation

* This clock radio is equipped with

a memory holding system that can

be powered with 2 "AA" batteries

(included). The power failure

protection circuit will not operate

unless battery is installed.

* When normal household power

is interrupted, or AC line cord

is unplugged, the batteries will

power the clock radio to keep

track of time and alarm settings

programmed into memory.

* When the battery backup functions,

the digital display will not light,

however, the function of alarm

still occurs during the power

interruption if remaining battery

power is adequate.

* Normal operation will resume after

AC power is restored so you will not
have to reset the time or the alarm

To install batteries:

1* Remove battery compartment door

(located at the bottom of the radio)

by applying thumb pressure to the

tab on battery door and then lift
the door out and off the cabinet

2* Insert 2 AA batteries (included).
3* Replace the compartment door

Replace batteries every year.

Power is fed to the unit even

when it is not functioning. To

cut the power supply off, the
power cable must be unplugged
OK.

Getting sylvania scr1986bt-as in standby mode

I think I cracked the code on this inexpensive but potentially infuriating little clock. When you first plug it in, it goes into STANDBY mode (identified by flashing ":" in the time display). In this mode, you set the time, alarms, preset radio stations, etc.
Once these are set, you go into NORMAL mode by pressing the SOURCE button (in the back row). In NORMAL mode, the : in the time display is steady. In different modes, the middle row and front row buttons do different things.
To return to STANDBY, you have to unplug the cord briefly and plug it back in. In STANDBY, the (front row buttons) AL-1 & AL-2 allow you to "cycle through" [buzzer-radio-off ] options for each alarm , and alter the time setting for each alarm (middle buttons). Once set, just wait and it will accept the new setting and display.
In NORMAL, the front row buttons raise or lower the volume of the radio. CAUTION: if you chose the radio setting for an alarm, and set the volume to 0, it will not wake you up! The middle row buttons only do anything when the radio is playing (SOURCE in the back row), when they can be used to tune the radio up and down, or move to preset station. Note that the SOURCE button is also used to select Blutooth sync, indicated by the blinking Bluetooth light on the right side of the display. To stop this from blinking, press SOURCE until AU (for auxiliary) appears and simply wait until it returns to NORMAL display.
Hope that helps.

How to set an alarm on a Samsung T255G Phone?

Hi there!

You can set an alarm to alert you once, or daily at a specified time. Once set, the alarms are easy to change or turn off completely.

• Wake-up Alarm
• Alarm 1

3. Highlight the options you wish to change, then select values for the options using the Left and Right navigation keys.

How do I set the alarm so it will activate on weekdays. It only works for Saturday and Sunday. Thanks

Hello

Sure Alarm battery Back-Up System

This SmartSet® Clock Radio includes a Sure Alarm battery back-up circuit that can

wake you up even if the power is 'Off'at the selected wake up time. If your power

is 'Off'at the selected wake up time the clock display will be off and the radio will

not operate, but a separate mini-buzzer will turn 'On'automatically to wake you up,

even if you had selected the "Wake to Radio"option.

The Sure Alarm will sound for 30 seconds and then shut off automatically.

To stop the Sure Alarm buzzer immediately, press the RADIO ON/OFF button.

Pressing the SNOOZE button has no effect during Sure Alarm operation.

Note: In order to maximize the life of the built in lithium battery, please be sure

to set the ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 switches to the "OFF"position if the radio

will be disconnected from the AC outlet for more than a few hours. This will
prevent the Sure Alarm from turning 'On'unnecessarily.

1.) Depress and hold either the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 setting button.

The display will change from the correct time
to the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 wake up time.

2.) While holding the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 setting button, depress either the

SET + or - button to move the display ahead or back to your desired wake up
time.

3.) When the desired wake up time appears on the display, release the SET + or

- buttons.

Note: Be sure that you have set the wake up time correctly by observing

the AM indicator. If the AM indicator is 'On'the wake up time is "AM". If the
AM indicator is 'Off', the wake up time is "PM".

4.) When the desired wake up time (AM or PM) appears on the display, release
the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 setting buttons

How do i set my alarm and when do i know it is on or off....keeps coming on and i dont know how to shut off the alarm...thank you

This clock radio features a dual alarm system, with two separate alarms that can be operated independently. The alarms can be set to wake two people at different times, or to have a main alarm and a backup. One alarm features your choice of radio stations as an alarm wake sound, while the second features a buzzer wake sound. You can set the radio alarm, the buzzer alarm, or both alarms.
Setting Radio Alarm
1. Press the "Alarm Set" Button. The display will flash and the Radio Alarm Indicator will appear. If you do not begin setting the time within ten seconds of pressing the it, the display will stop flashing andd you will need to press the "alarm Set Button again. 2. While the display flashes, press the "Tuning/Set" Buttons to set the wake time. Hold a button for a few seconds to advance the time rapidly. Be sure to set the correct AM/PM time, as shown by the PM Indicator. 3. After setting the radio alarm time, you will need to select the station to wake up to. First, press the "AM/FM" Button to select a radio frequency. Next, select a station using the "Radio Preset Buttons". Rotate the Volume Thumbwheel to set a wake sound volume level. 4. After setting the radio alarm wake time and sound, you will need to select your 7-5-2 setting. The 7-5-2 setting lets you set the alarm for a full week, weekdays only, or the weekend. Before setting the alarm, be sure that the correct date is set. 5. After you have set the radio alarm wake time, wake sound, and 7-5-2 setting, press the "Alarm Set" Button twice so that the display shows the standard, non-flashing display.
Setting Buzzer Alarm
1. Press the "Alarm Set" Button twice. The display will flash and the Buzzer Alarm Indicator will appear. 2. While the display flashes, press the "Tuning/Set" Buttons to set the wake time, as described above. 3. After setting the buzzer wake time, use the "Date/7-5-2" Button to select the buzzer. 4. After you have set the buzzer wake time and 7-5-2 setting, press the "Alarm Set" Button once so that the display shows the standard, non- flashing display.
Activating the Alarms
1. To activate the radio alarm, press the "Radio Alarm" Button so that the Radio Alarm Indicator appears on the display. As long as this indicator appears, the alarm will sound at the set time and days. 2. To activate the buzzer alarm, press the "Buzzer Alarm" Button so that the Buzzer Alarm Indicator appears on the display. As long as this indicator appears, the alarm will sound at the set time and days. 3. When the alarm sounds, press the " Off/Reset" Button to turn off the alarm while still maintaining the programmed 7-5-2 alarm settings. To turn off an alarm and cancel its 7-5-2 settings, press its "Alarm Button" so that its Alarm Indicator no longer appears on the display. 4. To activate the snooze feature, press the "Snooze/Night-Light" Bar when the alarm sounds. The alarm will shut off for approximately nine minutes before sounding again. The feature can be repeated several times during the one-hour snooze cycle. 5. If it is not turned off, the alarm will sound for an hour before stopping. As long as an Alarm Indicator appears on the display, the alarm will sound at the set time, according to the 7-5-2 settings.

Can't turn off the alarm

There are two alarms, and the steps are the same .
Look on the face. On the left of the big numbers are two symbols, a 'bell' and a 'music note'. That's WAKE 1. On the right of the big numbers are two symbols, a bell and music note. That's WAKE 2. If any of these are on, then one (or both) alarms are set to repeat.
Stopping repeat Wake 1 alarm. Click the Wake 1 button (on the top) several times, while looking at the face. Notice the circles that light up. It will switch back and forth between bell and music note each time you press the Wake 1 alarm button.
HOLD DOWN the WAKE 1 button on the top, until both lights are off. The Wake 1 alarm is now off.
Wake 2 alarm: Same steps, but for the green circles on the right side of the face.

Get a piece of paper, write "HOLD DOWN WAKE BUTTON to stop repeating alarm" and tape it to the back of the clock.

The correct time is showing but it is just blinking...

Chances are, one or both of your alarm times has not been set. You should be able to stop the flashing just by using the "Wake 1 - Wake 2" switch on top of the radio: move it all the way to the left. If one or both of the alarms is set, the Alarm time indicator on the front (bottom right) will say what the first alarm time is. To see what the second alarm time is, move the 'Wake 1 - Wake 2" switch all the way to the right and use the Forward--Reverse buttons on the front of the clock on the left side. Then move the "Wake 1 - Wake 2" switch all the way back to the left.

The switches on the far right on top of the radio are for choosing an alarm sound or music as what you hear at the alarm time, or or turning off the alarms.

How to set watch

I just set the time on mine with these instructions 1) With the watch in the regular time display mode (doesn't matter if 12 hour or military time), depress and hold the lower left hand button (mode button). After a few seconds the watch appears to shift to alarm mode and it is blinking. This puts you into the mode for adjusting the alarm.

2) If you want to adjust time, date, etc rather than alarm time, after you have done step one, simply press that same lower left button again, and then it will put you into the time mode, but this time the time mode is blinking and you can adjust the various components (seconds, minutes, hours) then you can use the upper right hand button to navigate thru seconds, minutes and hours. Then you can change the time with the lower right hand button you can only change the time forward. I hope this helps !!!
