Try to used another monitor and link it to your pc. if it displays good, then try to replace the wire coming from your lcd to the video card of your computer.

Yellow screen

You could try re-installing the graphics drivers, but it may be more serious, you may need to take to a local tech for testing as it could be 1 of 3 possible faults, graphics chipset, LCD/LED display or the LCD/LED display cable, let me know what happens. good luck.

Hi! I have Acer aspire one d257,it has a clear and vivid notebook display but whenever I connect it to the monitor or lcd the color turns to yellow instead of white background. what will I do?

Sounds like the monitor you are connecting to is bad. Try another monitor.

Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker. See if it displays correctly.

The screen is all yellow. i am using samsung sync master 713N. it was working fine but now suddenly all white has turned light-yellow.

It does sound like a bad monitor, but first! hook a spare monitor to the computer, if okay The Samsung SyncMaster is the problem, caused by the master board which is attached behind the LCD display, the video signals are feed to the main board where the colors are balanced. To repair this would not be cost effective "cheaper to buy new" Now! if the video cable from the computer to the monitor can be detached, sub another cable just to be sure. Finally if both monitors show the same issue, the problem is in the video graphics card of the computer.

Samsung Blast screen stays white.

More than likely you need a new LCD. I found out the LCD on this model is a bit more sensitive than normal and will malfunction if you put too much pressure on it while sliding the phone. I have these screens in shop and replace them all the time. [email protected]

Color problem

IT is 18 years OLD so has CCFL back lamps that all turn yellow.
is that it? if the OSD is yellow the (white looks yellow) that means the CCFL black lamp tubes are Shot.
i cant see what you see, no photos posted.

ok the monitor has and OSD, on screen display
i see you found that. but then fail to say what you saw there.
"you could see the background on the text as white. "

what does that mean,?
no matter what that is a bad Monitor.
the OSD works with no computer at all, so if the OSD fails
OSD brain, inside, then the monitor is bad.
all monitors worked previously so is not key to why its failing now.
only the tests now, matter. today/

my post above is for any monitor that fails the OSD tests
no PC turned off. or connected to any PC that works
the PC resolution must never exceed

1024 × 768 at 75 Hz Refresh Rate

on this old old dog. or the screen goes back with error
OUT OF RANGE.
