I don't know what your asking for, however, LA7830 is a vertical output ic and that is the only number for that ic.

Bright lines in the center of the screen the height is insufficient.replacing Vertical ic La7830,and 3 or 4 condenser no good.Need schematic diagram try to search for the jungle output.tnx more power
This is the vertical deflection IC of a CRT color TV. If you think it is fried then replace it yourself. For a datasheet of this part check the following link:

If the problem is the jungle output IC cxa2159s could be a problem and not start the power supply. This can cause an error code to know for sure.

You should replace the vertical IC of the same number used with it. No substituiton will go on.

My 15 year old Toshiba Televisiononly shows a narrow horizontal band in the middle of the screen. Sound OK.
Hiii fairley,

You aren't specsificly dercribe yor tv set.
For common TV horizontal problem ;i.e : White line accross the horizontal screen, horizontal band,etc..it's can solved by replacing the IC Vertical/Transistor, and olso to replace the cap nearest the IC.

For common TV Vertical Problem :i.e : White line at the center of the screen (top to bottom),Vertical band,etc...It's can cure by Replacing the Horizontal IC/Transistor,and offcurse the cap's.

Tha's what all I know....

My sony tv has vartical problem, when i start tv a white line is coming on the top and vartical screen is small. i check all dry solder. the vartical ic is LA7830. help me.
Check the electrolytic capacitors near this IC.. one or more of them may have either shorted or it's value may have changed signifcantly. Happens on olders sets .. they dry up due to heat if they are near a heat source like an transistor or IC mounted on a heat sync. Please give me the make and model of the TV.. there may be some known issues that I can look up for you. Also I need to know if the problem happend slowly or all of a sudden, hows the sound etc... give me as much information as you can.

Sony tv no picture only horizontal line
The probable defective part is the vertical IC. If changing that does not resolve the problem, check the capacitors in the same circuit. Also, check for the proper voltages at the vertical IC. If the IC is not being fed its power, it won't work either. I don't have a listing for your specific model. If you can post the vertical IC part number (LA7837 for example), I can list the voltages per pin.

You could have a bad capacitor 35v 100uf ,1uf 50v ,VERTICAL ICs have 7-11pins depends on which one you need LA7830-or 7833,7835,7836,7837 7838 make sure you get correct part.

No Power on Sony TV
Be sure to use an ORIGINAL Sony transistor and be sure to resolder the pins of the small horizontal driver transformer and all parts connected to and around it, and your set should be fine.
