Need to find a replacement audio cable for a Logitech Z-5300 sound system. It doesn't appear Logitech provides spare parts. Anyone know where I might find one without buying the whole system?

Philips tv troubleshooting no sound and stays on mono when connected to antena model no 27ps55s121

did you check in the set up might set to off, if the settings is ok check the speaker if worn out. now if the speaker is still good at this time you will need to have trouble shooting in the amplifier circuit at the main board weather the amplifier is bad.

I have sound but no picture

Check the obvious first, such as whether the mute button is on or whether the volume is turned all the way down. If that's not the issue, try the following steps.

1. Verify that all cables are firmly seated by reinserting each one. Loss of sound from moving, adding, subtracting or bumping into equipment is common. It is particularly applicable if your TV is connected to an exterior sound system. Inputs require tight connections in order for you to hear audio.

2. Confirm that cords are connected to their appropriate plugs. Certain TVs have color-coded inputs that can be matched up with cable boxes and sound systems.

3. Try a new cable to see if that fixes the problem if other components appear to be working. Over time, cables can malfunction, either from age or from wear and tear. Having a spare cable or two around the house can be helpful for troubleshooting and eventual replacement.

4. Verify that the remote is set to:

Proper video input (TV, satellite/cable, DVD)
Correct audio input (TV, DVD player, gaming system)

5. Determine if it's the cable/satellite provider or TV station issue by checking other channels to see if the sound is isolated to a single station. You can also call your provider to see if they're experiencing issues with their audio before checking your own.

6. If an external sound system is used, testing another input such as a radio or CD player is a good way to differentiate problems between the TV and the sound system. There may be faulty inputs.

Why isn't my Logitech Z-5300 speaker system no longer turning on at all?

I have a suggestion that you can try. If the unit is no longer turning on and you're sure the electrical outlet is good (by plugging in another device) and the hand-held control panel is on, as well as the switch at the base of the subwoofer, then try replacing the fuse. The subwoofer on this model has a fuse near where the power cord enters the subwoofer. There is a slotted screwdriver slot on the fuse cover. Using a flat-head screwdriver (or your thumbnail), turn the cover about a 1/4 to a 1/2 a turn and the fuse should pop out. Keep the cover. Replace the fuse with a 4 amp, 125V (or higher) fuse that is a slow-blow fuse. There are fast blow (or fast acting) and slow blow (or slow acting) fuses. You can't replace one for the other. You should be able to find a fuse at Radio Shack. If a new fuse doesn't get your system working again, then something else is broken. Good luck.

Hi, I bought recently a new 5.1 Surround Sound System Logitech X-530 and want to connect it to our new LCD LG 32LD450 HD TV. The LG TV has apart from all Digital, Optical and RCA Connections as well one...

You can't connect the speakers to your TV. I doesn't have any audio output available, just inputs. Those are for connecting the audio from sources like DVD players, and they go in to the TV's sound system. But there's no way of getting the sound out except through the set's internal speakers. The surround system you got is great for a computer, but it's not what you need for TV use.

The only solution I can offer is the suggestion that you invest in a home theater receiver. You can get decent basic systems with the receiver (often with DVD/audio CD playback capability built in) and surround speakers at reasonable prices. Then you use that to drive the speakers, and use the TV just as a video monitor. Then you will have surround sound.

We connected our z 5300 speaker to a new computer. and get no. sound. Is there a driver that needs to be installed. the last computer no longer works.

Did you open your speaker ICON and check to see that you don't have the audio muted? I have seen a lot of customers complain that their NEW speakers don't work but they have their audio set to mute.

Z-5300 speaker no sound

You need to install the sound drivers for your PC. go to the manufacturers website, (ex.www.hp.com) and go to the support section, sometimes called downloads also. It will prompt you for your model of PC and what Operating System ( XP,Vista,etc..) and then it will list the drivers that are available. you should update anything in "DeviceManager" that has anything except the "+" sign beside it.
