I BOUGHT A SAMSUNG BLACKJACK 2 AND UNLOCKED IT. I PUT MY BOOST PREPAID SIM CARD IN IT AND IT SAYS NO SERVICE, ONLY EMRGENCY CALLS ACCEPTED. I BOUGHT MY UNLOCK CODE FROM CELLUNLOCKER.NET. DID THE SOFT AND HARD RESET AND STILL NO SERVICE

the sim card is still tied to the previous service provider
get a new sim card from your new service provider
keep the plastic card that the sim card is attached to as there is the PUK code that you will need to open the phone stamped on that plastic card

Please get the SIM pin / puk codes on your service provider for free.

Yes it should if the LG mobile phone is unlocked. If not, when you insert the Boost SIM card in the LG it will ask for a Secutity Code.

make sure that its in correctly and wipe of the golden contacts off the sim and on the phone, if it still doesnt work you may need a new sim card

TEMPORARY UNLOCK: Put a non-accepted SIM Card and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.

If you want to unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call batton and it's unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested)

they are correct, it wont work, but you can try to use it on there CDMA service. they no longer advertise it but still accept new subscribers. call boost

Samsung i607 is usually locked to AT&T or Unlocked. Either way you should have no problem in putting any AT&T prepaid or other Sim card in it to use. There is nothing special that you need to do to do this. Just remove the battery and find the SIM slot with the picture showing you which way to insert the Sim card. Then put in the battery and turn the phone on.

You can use this sim card only if the blackjuack was issued by Boost Mobile also or if The blackjack is an "unlocke" phone.

Is this phone from the same service provider as your simcard? If not, not all phones are unlocked to work with the sim cards of rival companies. If both the phone and sim card are from the sam company, then you can have the company replace your sim card. They usually do this for free as a courtesy as long as you explain the problem to them.
