Go to control panel click on Autoplay, camera is under devices probably says " take no action" with red sign.click on the bar and a drop down appears, click on import to windows or ask me first, click save and it should work fine. i uninstalled the fuji software,i assume it has issues with microsoft settings.
After surfing for solutions, I tried uninstalling all the Fuji software and using Windows to pull the pictures off the camera...It worked! Card and USB were working just fine even though they came back with errors using the Fuji software.
You do not need a driver for Vista. All you have to do, get a card reader and connect to the PC. Insert the memo card from the camera into the card reader and presto, you can transfer your photos to the PC.
And for the gentleman with XP. The USB driver for your camera is on the Fuji CD. You have to install it.................. If you don't have the CD you can download the driver and manual from the Fuji website.
I think u have a wrong setup for ur web cam.
Try set it up as a web cam and not as a video device.
Video device needs a capture card or a proper driver for the device to work.
Hope u got the idea
As you posted, both cameras have their memory full then you need to free up the internal memory either by deleting the contents or transferring them (the pictures) to your computer.
To transfer to your PC, you would need the installer/driver CD that came with the cam as well as a USB cable. You need to run/install FinePix Viewer prior to the USB connection. Follow on screen instructions. When asked to connect the cam do so. All others are explained with illustrations on the User's Manual. A copy od the A700 User's Manual is available here.
Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
Hi guys, I have a JVC gr-d270. the CD came along with it is useless.

my videos to my computer. Can anybody help me with the driver atleast.
Im using windowsXP sp 2. Thanks
what OS are the PC's using - did you use the same card reader on all PC's
can you copy the pictures off the CF card using the camera connected to the PC - rather then connect to the PC
then reformat the CF card in the camera with the camera software - see if that helps
