When using an external flash with the C-8080 Wide Zoom, you will need the appropriate flash cable with your flash and aftermarket bracket. The Hot Shoe Flash Cable (FL-CB05) mounts to the C-8080 Hot Shoe and the opposite end attaches to the aftermarket flash bracket’s flash shoe or to a standard tripod attachment thread (1/4x20).

It uses a contrast detecting system to analyze the entire image by comparing the subject against the background to achieve focus.
