I have a problem on my motherboard asus p4vp-mx. When Im stalling my pc there an error message going out " Stop: C0000221 Unknown Hard Error \ SystemRoot\system32\ntdll.dll."
Thanks.
It's probably a corrupted file on the hard drive due a variety of reasons. A simple defrag might fix it but it's unlikely, so it is probably preferable to a Repair function from your XP install CD. These kinds of errors with XP were not uncommon. After the Repair assuming it works and I'm fairly certain that it will, defrag your hard drive and then start getting the new updates for your system.

i think its a problem with bios of mobo, coz i also encountered that problem, i change the memory, harddrive, power supply, processor, still that error appears when installing windows xp.

Another strong possibility is the CD or DVD being installed from is causing the issue by installing a corrupted file, i.e. either the file on media is faulty and/or decompression from media is faulty, possibly but not necessarily due to a hardware issue in which case the CD/DVD reader, memory, or hard drive might be the culprit. In most cases , a clean format and re-installation from known good media will solve this issue. If one knows for sure the media is good, especially on another computer then consider the possibility that the CD/DVD reader in the suspect computer might not be reading the media properly. I have personally seen this on several occasions
