The unit says bucket full and flashes ch 24 Was told by lg to return unit and get a new one which I did and ave same problem Bucket is not full bc I have it attached to a drainage hose Could the issue be n extension chord?

No it is not the cord.

Try it with the bucket instead of the hose.

Let us know what happens.

    i just bought one a week ago and it had the same problem. Returned it for a new one and have the same problem. Took it to another room on different breaker and it works. Is there a power issue in the ac that could cause the CH24 error?

I have a brand new LD651EBL. Picked it up this morning. Just plugged it in. Keep getting the CH 24 code. The bucket is all the way in. Is there a fix or do I need to return it?
There may be some packing material left in the bucket or tape that is holding the float valve in place. In which case, the float valve may be in the UP position, which tells the unit, that the bucket is full.
Check the top of the bucket for the float valve and make sure it's in the DOWN position. Reinstall the bucket 'squarely" in the bucket holder and making contact with the bucket safety removal switch on the rear wall of the bucket holder.

If this continues to happen, consult the Troubleshooting Guide in the Owner's Manual.

Not running- CH 24 code on the Humidity setting & empty bucket red light flashing even though bucket is empty and in place correctly
If the bucket is in place correctly, turn the unit OFF & unplug it for 10 minutes. This should allow the electronics to rest and revert back to the original factory setting after you plug it back in and turn it ON. From there you should be able reset the controls to your liking.

Not running. Blinking red light for bucket full. Code flashing is CH 24.
Leo, have you removed and emptied the buck and reinstalled it? If not, that's the first thing you need to do. If you have already done that, remove the bucket and if it's equipped with a float valve in the top of the bucket, make sure the float is not stuck in the UP position. If it is, jiggle the arm of the float, so that it will return to the DOWN position.

If not equipped with a float valve, when you reinstall the bucket, be sure that it fits "squarely" from top to button into the holder.

NOTE: Before attempting any of the above, turn the unit OFF and unplug it it.
