Settings then ringtones. It should show you the settings on how to turn your smart phone to two things vibrate and silent. Also the side buttons on the phone itself will switch it to Loud, Vibrate, and Silent Modes. Hope this helps

Blackberry storm will vibrate but won't ring. ive tried takin the battery out and volume control still only vibrates.

Sounds like the phone is in the "vibrate mode"- try taking it out of vibrate by changing your sound profile to "normal". If that doesn't work, take it to your local store; it may be more of a phone issue.

S740 ring and vibrate

You can't. Only vibrate or ring only. Maybe some 3rd party app may do that.

Dash does not vibrate??? anyone help

It does vibrate! All you have to do is hold down the # button for about 3 seconds and the let it go. The phone will vibrate once, and then it will have the "vibrate" icon at the top of the screen to let you know that it's on vibrate. To turn it off of vibrate, hold down the # again for about 3 seconds. Hope this helps!

When set to vibrate+tone all I get is vibrate.

I had the identical problem, and was about to replace my unit. When I popped the SIM card and battery back in, the problem was solved. Basically a hard reset. Don't know whether it made a difference, but I left it out overnight. Hope this works for you.

Blackberry 8300 curve

Turn your vibrate off. The curve vibrates before it rings, it won't vibrate and ring at the same time. So with the vibrate off, you will gain about 10-15 seconds of ring time.

Vibration

The small switch on the top of the left edge of the iPhone turns on/off the vibrate function. Ringtones are affected by pressing the longer switch just below the vibrate switch.
