Hi, there are many videos in youtube regarding key programming especially Nissan Altima. I've found the video for our Nissan Altima company car key a year ago.
General advice: Immo condition: Dead key battery (may need to press button(s) on the key to get the chip activated Key sincro (ceck owners manual ) Key chip fried/key reprogramming. Bad Antenna ring/plug (around the ignition barell). Use second key. Try disconecting the battery for some minutes. Try emergency procedure (if apply,owners manual) Tricky bussines. Hope u deal it,let others know.
You have to go to a chevy dealer for the key. You can probably get a owners manual their too. They also sell manuals at auto zone or napa. Most auto stores sell them
