My Alpine car stereo model 9811 loses power then gains power when i drive. It keeps the presets, but its almost like someone is pulling out the hot wire from the back then re-attaching it. I've checked the hot wire and it seems fine. What should i do??

Did you check both the red and yellow wires? You may have a bad connection elsewhere in the vehicle or even bad solder connections inside of the radio itself.

Make sure the yellow wire is connected to a source that still has voltage when the key is turned off. The yellow wire controls the memory of the deck.

No, its ok. Try to check the wire connection in the power supply. Check the fuse if the spring that pushes to contact is still working. The problem is on that area.

Alpine cda-9811 is not accepting amp as external amplifier?

The signal should go from the head unit to the amp to the subs. Someone must not have wired the subs correctly through the amp, or amp to the cd player..
