Monitor states No signal. this is a new computer, just today

Make sure you are connecting the monitor signal lead to the correct signal output on the rear of the machine. Some desktops have extra video out connectors when they have a graphics card fitted. If yours has a graphics card the display connector will be away from the back USB ,audio and keyboard ports and near to some silver pop out panels near the bottom of the tower.

When i on my desktop it show blue screen and says no signal analog

That means that the monitor is not getting a signal from the computer. There are several possible issues involved. 1) Make sure that the computer tower is on. 2) Check that the video cable is connected to the active port on the desktop. (Computers often have video connections on the motherboard and an added video card. The motherboard connection is disabled when the video card is active. Similarly if there are several ports (VGA, DVI, HDMI, Display port) only one may be active.) 3) Try a new video cable (if possible) and one of the other video ports (again if possible). 4) Try connecting a different monitor to the computer or connecting this monitor to another computer.

Open up the computer and check if the card requires a separate power connection to the power supply. Make sure it is plugged in. Do the fans in the computer spin up?

If a second monitor doesn't work or the monitor works on another computer, then the problem is with the video adapter on the computer, the power supply or the power switch. Please add a comment with more information about the type of desktop and the current video graphics adapter (on the motherboard or separate card). I will provide additional help if possible.

Cindy Wells
(who has a computer in the company that needed a new monitor (power supply failed) a few months ago and lost the fan on the video card last week. Without the fan, the card overheated and shut down. Thus no signal to the monitor.)

My monitor won't work the power button flashes on and off and my screen stays blank and it just sits there with the power button flashing on and off repeatedly

ITs the Vedio card issue, the power on your screen is on but the image is not there coz the vedio card is not shooting any picture, check the vedio card connection, the one comes from computer to screen , make sure is well connected and on the right place, if it doesnot work, open the computer and make sure your vedio card is pluged well and not out of place, if all this doesnot work change ur network card. but before that when u put ur pc on did u hear any beeps? if yeah let me know how many beeps you hear and if its short or long so i can help you. My monitor says there is no signal from my new Dell Studio

Try reseating the video card in your new computer. Sounds like it may not be seating in the slot properly. Take it out and put it back in with the power off and then hook everything back up and then see if you get video,.

No Video DG33PR

maybe it takes the system to get use to it new settings, here something you dont want to hear from me its a lot of troubleshooting on your part, disconnect everything except one know good stick of ram, one good working monitor, one good working power supply, and remove all other wire connectors, extra cards, start from basics and add one peace at a time until you find the bad peace of equipment or bad vedio adapter, sound card.

also set motherboard and software back to windows default setting until we resolve the issues it may not just be one you may have 2 or more problems,

it is alot of work or work on vedio partion of the problem, the card of overheated, the power connection maybe fualty, monitor cable may have a short in the power cord or the adapter plug in the cable or card itself shorted the vedio out, make sure every thing is set 120v not 220v, smell the vedio card for burnent or overhead part, check the curciutry, try a different lot unless it is a agp card than i would say its the mother board itself.

bois never go bad, the overclocking and alot of power is the biggist killers for motherboard, some one shorts it out.

make sure all the chip are seated firmily.

No signal msg on the monitor

you have to check:
1) the monitor work ok itself with other PC. (or change a monitor test better
2) open your PC cover look power on work status, power supply work and all fans sunning, then go next
3) change the RAM first slot memory still no msg go next
4) find out any vedio card used (AGP) , and looking for any vedio build-in the motherboard, you may change the monitor sigbal vable
one to another VGA interface,
