All the inputs they have relay switch i had 2 has gone on mine , or you have the relay for the speaker output , try and give them a gentle tap with your finger it may work for awhile , but you need to replace , is not a simple job , you have to dismantel the amp to get to the soldering side of the board.

SOURCE: loss of one channel to speaker

when you say switching input wires you mean your source? that you switch it? you only have switch problem, it is mechanical type swutch need to clean only, if still possible. i dont know if you can find replacement.

Any good at sodering?
You have a bad solder joint somewhere!

Testimonial: "never thought of that! I just presumed it had a faulty component somewhere. Excellent advice. Thanks "

Roksan Ka1 MkIII integrated Amplifier preamp works but not power amp. Two fuses on circuit board show no continuity, but are soldered in. What would have caused this and how to repair

Very likely the power amp output transistors are shorted and need to be replaced. The fuses provide power to these transistors. To verify this diagnosis, (with the speakers disconnected and the unit unplugged, of course!), check for continuity between the fuse terminal and the speaker output at the amplifier board (before any protection relay). If you have continuity (< 1 ohm resistance), the transistor is bad. Most power amplifiers have one transistor to the DC+ power supply and another to the DC- power supply. Both are connected to one speaker terminal, and the other speaker terminal goes to power supply ground. If one transistor shorts out, it overloads the other transistor and fries it as well. Even if it tests good, it's probably been damaged and is likely to short and ruin the new transistor, so replace both at the same time. The foregoing holds true if the output transistors are inside a power amp module.

Note: check your speaker wiring (both ends) after repairing the amplifier. A stray strand at the speaker connector shorting to the other terminal or ground can destroy the output transistors. I once had a customer who had too much bare wire exposed on the ends of his speaker wire. It was fine until his wife turned the speaker upside down during cleaning and twisted the bare wires together (and forgot to right the speaker afterwards). He bought fuses and transistors ...

Why does my roksan kandy amp cut out on left channel

There are way too many components to narrow it down. Could be a noisy switch, an intermittent speaker relay, etc, etc. If you would like to have it repaired, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Sorry no one answered your question before.

Remote problem with roksan kandy k2 volume doesn t work

If the remote controls everything else and works otherwise correctly the fault is most likely to be the volume control drive motor. Roksan will fix it for between 100 and 150 pounds I should think, or you could order the part and do it yourself. There are general modifications that Roksan do as standard to all amps of different ages, parts that are known to break down with use and time, to avoid future repairs.

Roksan kandy k2 input switching

Is the amp switching by it self or does it not switch at all? I'm sure you are awear that the mode light should be red when "on" and green when amp is "off". If you can switch but no sound, than the 2 F6,3A fuses can be broken and most likely one or two of the output transistors shortened.

Can i connect a graphic equalizer to my roksan kandy L1 amplifier

Assuming they have compatible outs and ins, why not? Manuals help.

1/2 hour warm up

I would replace or have replaced all the Large Electrolytic Capacitors in the power supply section of the amp and see if that solves the problem.
