Can a SD HC memory card be used in a HP Photosmart R927 digital camera?
SOURCE: Will an SDHC card work in the HP photosmart R927?
No, it won't work unless HP provides a firmware update. Hp has two websites that mention what type of sd cards are compatible with your camera. One says it is and the other says it isn't. I have a HP R967, which is similar to yours. I bought an HP sdhc card from a HP website that said both our cameras could use it. I own several of this model camera, (I bought 3 to give as gifts) and the sdhc causes the cameras to display 'wrong format.' I suggest calling HP's headquarters and asking them to provide a firmware update similar to the one that HP offered for the HP M537 camera and that Casio offered for their older cameras to let them use this type card, which is what I've been doing.

There is a tiny switch located on the side of the memory card, might even say lock on it or beside it. Just flick the switch opposite of the way it is now and it should work fine after that. There might even be a small arrow showing which way to switch it. The reason for the lock button is "just" for this, so you don't accidentally erase some wanted pictures or someone else.

Card format may be incompatible with reader or card may be too large for reader to manage. Try another card in the reader to see if it will read that one. If so you know the card is the problem not the reader.

Previous solution is the FAIL. Original poster says it works fine in _camera_, but not in _printer_. _Printer_ is the compatibility issue, not camera.
